Lincoln Electric will demonstrate a wide variety of welding and plasma cutting equipment, along with a newly expanded line of protective apparel at the 2012 Sturgis Rally. Located in the Motorcycle Expo lot on Lazelle Street, riders are encouraged to stop by the booth to try out equipment, ask fabrication questions and receive a complimentary gift to commemorate their trip to Sturgis.

Welding Seminars
Lincoln Electric will also host two seminars (Monday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. and Thursday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m.) in the Activities Center Tent in the expo lot. Expert fabricators will present interactive sessions on maintenance and repair techniques for motorcycle welding applications.

Tomahawk® Plasma Cutting Systems

Plasma cutters are the ideal solution for cutting conductive material in seconds. The 375 Air has a built-in air compressor, and is capable of 3/8 in. cut at 14 ipm. The 625 has a 5/8 in. maximum cut at 12 ipm and the 1000 is capable of cutting 1 in. material at 10 ipm. The 625 and 1000 models have optional CNC machine torch set-up for reliable production cutting.

Red Line™ Welding Apparel and VIKING™ Auto-Darkening Welding Helmets

Lincoln Electric’s expanded line of welding apparel will be on display and available for purchase. Items include welding jackets, gloves, safety glasses, and auto-darkening helmets.

Torchmate Growth Series™ CNC Cutting Systems

All Torchmate Growth Series™ CNC prototyping systems have a small footprint and deliver enhanced control and repeatability over manual operations. These compact multi-use platforms are designed to bring CNC plasma cutting, routing, drilling, milling and engraving to those who could not previously afford to enter the world of CNC technology.

These units contain CAD Lite and Torchmate® Driver software, which allow you to create your own parts or import .dxf files from almost any CAD program.
