For years, people have been complaining about motorcycle helmets and about mandatory helmet laws, and for years, the government has not listened. They continue to force helmets onto riders heads whether they like it or not.
It is time to COMPLAIN LOUDLY and OFTEN.
Here’s how:
The government has a computer system where you should all be filing our complaints. It is relatively unused. After several years, there are only about 20 complaints on file.
Let the government know every complaint you have about helmets. Let them know how you do not like to be forced to wear helmets. If you feel strongly about this you must complain loudly and often, or else they will think you are complacent.

This action is inspired by freedom fighters everywhere, such as Richard “Quig” Quigley, who used to call and complain to the NHTSA almost every day, even after his living wake, and right up until the day he died of lymphoma in 2007. Other freedom fighters, not just from B.O.L.T. but everywhere, frequently call the NHTSA and their state legislators to complain also. Let’s spread the word to start filing official complaints.

Its good to wear helmets especially if they look cool with really cool designs plus the comfort and style. You get to follow the law and be in style at the same time
THE LAW IN GEORGIA STATES “PROTECTIVE HEAD GEAR MUST BE WORN” BUT THAT COULD INCLUDE MANY THINGS EVEN BANDANAS. NOW IF THE STATE REQUIRES HELMETS IT AUTOMATICALLY GOES TO THE HIGHER FEDERAL LEVEL INVOLVING WEARING DOT APPROVED HELMETS. THIS IS *** BIKERS ARE BEING SINGLED OUT IN SO MANY WAYS AND WE THE SOUTHERN KNIGHTS ARE *** SICK OF IT!!!!!!!!
Complaining hasn’t worked, so let’s do more? Nanny-crat legislators will not change their minds any sooner than a leopard would change his spots. Why? People elected them to BE nanny-crats.
Time for something different … something that actually DOES work. Bad legislation comes from bad legislators. So the trick is to find biker-friendly candidates who are running against vulnerable nanny-crats.
All you have to do is help the good guys win, and the rest will take care of itself. Pound for pound, no amount of complaining can possibly compete with reliable campaign volunteers.
The sooner bikers figure this out, the sooner we’ll EARN the right to decide. Google the Repeal Machine if you’re ready to do more than talk. Action on the campaign trail speaks louder, I guarantee.
Wear one if you want. Don’t wear one if you don’t. Just about choice. Helmet laws were created by prejudice and bigotry. Learn the true history. The laws were never about safety. But every true American Biker knows that.
